The Navarm Bomb (ナパームボム, Napalm Bomb, in Japan) is a bomb that sprays lava in four directions. The lava then becomes pillars of fire for a few seconds.
This bomb is mainly used to destroy tough pieces of metal that pose as obstacles. Destroying these pieces will either open up areas or rooms on the map or reveal items hidden inside it. This bomb can also be used to wipe out enemies quickly since it does a lot of damage and lasts longer than the regular Fire Bomb.
Napalm Bombs may have been renamed Navarm Bombs in English out of sensitivity to the controversial use of napalm in real-life conflicts such as the Vietnam War, or it may have been a failed transliteration from the Japanese katakana.
