In Bomberman Hero Kokekko has a large, round body, and hops slowly in pursuit of Bomberman.[1] It will harm Bomberman for 1 HP on collision. When it is defeated, four Hiyokkos will appear in its stead.[2]
In Bomberman Jetters - The Legendary Bomberman, Kokekko moves slowly, stopping for about one second each time it lands on a different tile space. Occasionally, it will pause to peck at the ground. It will harm Mighty on collision. It sometimes drops a Mango upon its defeat.[3]

- The name "Kokekko" comes from the Japanese onomatopoeia "kokekkou", the sound of a rooster's crow.
