Gurun moves at a normal pace, turning at intersections. It will pursue players who come to close to it.
When the stage begins, Gurun moves on the ground. If a player lines up with it horizontally or vertically, it will stop and fire a bullet in the direction of the player - even if there are bombs, Soft Blocks, Hard Blocks, or other obstacles in the way. The bullet flies in a straight line until it hits an object. It destroys Soft Blocks, detonates bombs, and damages players on impact.
Periodically, Gurun will jump into the air and begin flying with its whirling blades. In this mode, the robot can pass over Soft Blocks, but it cannot fire bullets. It will eventually return to the ground again. Require 2 hits to destroy.
Trivia
Edit
The name "Gurun" is derived from the Japanese word "kuru", a sound effect for things that turn.
