Fire Spike (ロック, Rock, in Japan) is an enemy that appears in Bomberman 64.[1] It remains stationary, appearing to be a rock, until Bomberman draws near. At that point, it will wake up and shoot fire in his direction.[2] The fire will harm Bomberman and detonate bombs on contact. Fire Spike itself will stun Bomberman on collision, though it never moves from its spot.
Fire Spike takes 15 bomb blasts to destroy. In Hard Mode, it attacks more quickly and takes 16 bomb blasts to destroy. Upon its defeat, it yields a Heart.
