Fiber moves slowly in a straight line until it collides with a block, bomb, or other enemy, at which point it pauses and then chooses a random direction and continues to move. It may choose to reverse directions even if it is not at a dead end. It will harm the player on collision.
Occasionally, it may stop and issue a brief stream of fire in one of the four cardinal directions, provided that there is room for the full attack in that direction. The attack extends out to three tile spaces and will harm the player.
In Super Bomberman 2, while it is attacking, it is invulnerable to explosions. In Super Bomberman 5, it is not.
It reappears in the Lava World of Bomberman Portable, igniting bombs.
