Doronpa is an enemy that first appeared in Super Bomberman 4.

Doronpa moves at a normal pace, pausing before turning upon collision with a wall, bomb, or other enemy. If it lines up horizontally or vertically with a player, it will change directions and move toward that player. It will harm the player on contact.

Periodically, Doronpa will stop, spread its arms, and warp to another spot on the map. While it is in the process of warping, it is invulnerable to explosions.

In Super Bomberman 5, it does not pause before changing directions and does not change directions upon colliding with another enemy.

In Bomberman Portable, they appear in the Spook World.

Trivia

  • The name "Doronpa" comes from the Japanese word "doron", meaning "escaping".
